Our Magnificent Building
With its splendid Art Deco facade, Nell Gwynn House was designed in the '30s by architect G. Kay Green as a glamorous central London home for those who travelled or lived outside the capital. In addition to the sumptuous apartments, the building hosted a restaurant-ballroom for people, a cocktail bar, a lounge and a music club.
Celebrated British designers Tim Gosling and Phil Sturdy have captured the Belle Epoque glamour and heritage of the building’s original style in a beautiful redesign. "I have known and loved Nell Gwynn House for many years, so it has been both a privilege and delight for the Gosling Design team to restore it to its former glory."

Studio Nell Gwynn House is one of our largest studios and is perfect for visiting families or guests in London on an extended stay for work. The large window ensures plenty of light with attractive views along Chelsea's glamorous Sloane Avenue. Sympathetically refurbished by the owners and retaining the higher ceiling and some of the original features, this large studio with generous storage is sure to be a popular choice. The new bathroom contains a full size bath with overhead shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail and the kitchenette enables you to cook breakfasts to set you up for a day sight-seeing.
