Brief Biography

Born in from Katsina State. He has his basic medical degree (MBBS) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in and a master’s in public health from the same institution in He has his residency training in Medical Microbiology at University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, Borno State with Fellowship of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and West African College of Physicians respectively in He is a certified international Field Epidemiologist with over fifty academic publications/conference proceedings. He is also a consultant with the teaching hospital. He is happily married with five children.

    Brief Biography

    Mohammed Mahe Yahaya is a male indigene of Sokoto North Local Government, rose through the ranks to become Professor of Entomology in the Department of Biology of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. He is a holder of NCE in Agric from ABU Zaria, B. Sc. (ed.) 2 Biology, M. Sc. and PhD Zoology degrees from UDUS. Active in straight and collaboration for various researches with particular interest in insects’ vector control, stored product entomology, aquatic insects’ roles in water quality assessment and related researches. To his credit, over thirty research articles are published in reputable and paired reviewed Journals within and outside Nigeria. Also, serving as a reviewer for many academic Journals; not limited to NJBAS, SJBAS, Computational Life Sciences (Springer Journals), International Journal of Science and Applied Research. Within the administrative ambience, he held positions such as Staff Seminar coordinator, exams officer, SIWES coordinator, Faculty representative to FAIS, Chairman and member of various Committees and organizations including Bazatile Investment Cooperation, Waziri Machido Foundation, Nigerian Red Cross Socie

      The Gombe State Governor-Elect, Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya was born in Jekadafari, Gombe on October 9, to the family of accomplished businessman, Alhaji Yahaya Umaru. He graduated from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria in with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.

      He started his career as an Accountant II with the Bauchi State Investment and Property Development Company (BSIPDC) and rose to the rank of Principal Accountant.

      He joined his family business and moved to Nasara Motors Limited as an Administration and Finance Manager with additional responsibility of managing other affiliate companies such as Nasara Agro Industrial Limited, Nasara Petroleum Marketing Company Limited and A.Y.U Civil Engineering Limited.
