Judith Curry
Judith A. Curry was chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology unti she retired in She runs a climate blog and has been invited by Republicans on several occasions to testify at climate hearings about uncertainties in climate understanding and predictions. Climate scientists criticize her uncertainty-focused spiel for containing elementary mistakes and inflammatory assertions unsupported by evidence. Curry is a regular at Anthony Watts' denier blog, as well as Steve McIntyre's Climate Audit, another denier site. She has further embarrassed herself (and her university) by using refuted denier talking points and defending the Wegman Report, eventually admitting she hadn't even read it in the first place.[1] Curry has agreed with Trump's description of climate change as a "hoax", writing in that the UN's definition of manmade climate change "qualifies as a hoax".[2]

I recently did an interview with Christopher Balkaran on his Strong and Free podcast [link]
While I wasnt previously aware of Balkaran or his podcast, you can see why I agreed to this interview, from these excerpts from the About page:
I created the Strong and Free Podcast to explore news topics by gathering multiple perspectives together and allowing people and organizations to discuss their opinions with detail. This allows for a nuanced conversation. It also means putting aside my own bias to explore these to the fullest. It means making all guests feel welcomed to share their opinions safely, without fear that the host will paint them into a corner, or make them sound incoherent. I want this place to be truly safe. I believe everyone, even those I disagree with, deserve to be treated with respect and to be on the Podcast to share their perspective. It also means having a concrete discussion on issues and determining the best way forward. As long as we restore thoughtful approaches to the biggest issues of our time our c
About CFAN
CFAN was founded in by Judith Curry and Peter Webster and launched under Georgia Tech’s VentureLab program. Our objective was to translate cutting-edge weather and climate research into forecast products that support the mitigation of weather and climate risks. Our initial opportunities and clients motivated the development of innovative extended-range forecasts of extreme weather events. We recognized early that the key to market adoption was working with our clients to evolve our forecast solutions to support effective decision-making. In recent years, CFAN has responded to growing needs for more realistic scenarios for regional climate change on decadal time scales than can be provided by global climate models.
CFAN’s team is active in advancing novel ideas and approaches in weather and climate services. We are recognized as innovators in pushing the boundaries of effective forecasting and advancing the understanding of weather and climate prediction and predictability.
CFAN’s founders have built a team with rich expertise in the core fields of meteorology, climatology, mathematical and computer sciences
