Jarosław Puczel: odbiorca sztuki jest jej twórcą
Jaroslaw Puczel
Jarosław Puczel to artysta malarz pochodzący z Kętrzyna, absolwent Wydziału Pedagogiki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Od najmłodszych lat związany z szeroko rozumianą sztuką. Malarstwo, grafika, film, teatr i muzyka są nieodłącznymi elementami jego życia.
Jednak to właśnie malarstwu poświęcił się w szczególności. Artysta zajmuje się malarstwem figuratywnym. Głównym tematem jego prac są ludzie oraz towarzyszące im emocje. Jego obrazy zachwycają swoją prostotą, kolorystyką i oryginalnością. Od kilku lat opiekę nad twórczością autora sprawują dwie międzynarodowe galerie :„Robert Fontaine Gallery” w Miami oraz „Galerie Sandhofer” w Insbrucku.
Jedna z hollywoodzkich wytwórni filmowych zaprosiła autora do współpracy. Jego obraz „Kochankowie” będzie elementem scenografii filmu „Her” w reżyserii Spike&#;a Jonze&#;a. Zawiśnie nad łóżkiem głównego bohatera, którego zagra amerykański aktor &#; Joaquin Phoenix.

Jarek Puczel (JAROSŁAW PUCZEL)
Born in in Poland, Puczel graduated from the University of Warsaw and have gained his artistic experience as a filmmaker, graphic designer and painter. He views his style as emotional, but calming, reduced in shape and color. Building stories, but pointing at illusion and unveiling the materiality of paints. Showing the individuals, but talking about a common human experiences.
There is also probably something deeply &#;Eastern European&#; in his style. You can even feel the heritage of painting icons: human figures are reduced in details to their main psychological features, and depicted mainly on a flat backgrounds (it souds like an echo of the notion, that outside world doesn&#;t matter).
Paradoxically, such an old-time “iconic heritage” can be regarded… as a progressive conceptual basis. &#;By the way, the outside world realy doesn&#;t exist, as quantum physics teaches us.&#; In his &#;Lovers&#; series he focuses on deeply hidden, intimate connections between couples.

Artist Bio
Jarek Puczel (Jaroslaw Puczel) was born in in Ketrzyn, Poland. He studied in the Warsaw University, Faculty of Art Pedagogy and graduated from it in He took part in Creative Film Workshops OKO in Warsaw (). He is a member of Polish Painters and Sculptors Union. He now lives and works in Olsztyn, Poland.
Artist Statement
I try to be an intuitive artist and flow with the stream of life, so I abandon the developed forms as soon as I notice their mismatch to my new experiences. Recently I am interested in the parallelism of the different realities, which are available simultaneously for certain events.
