Ebrahim Hamedi (born June 19, - Tehran, Iran) better known by his stage name Ebi, is a famous Persian singer. Being one of the most popular and enduring singers of Iran, he's usually noted for his unique voice and is considered by many to be the best Iranian Pop singer. Having started his career over 30 years ago, he is a well established star with fans all over the world. His voice, and his choice of songs has won him awards all around the world, such as "Master of Voice" in with the song "Persian Gulf" in Australia.

He left Iran before the Islamic Revolution.[2] He has performed his patriotic Iranian song "Persian Gulf" that makes reference to the Iranian stand in the Persian Gulf naming dispute. Among other "politically charged"[3] songs, Tasmim critically addressed the very controversial presidential election.[4]
Throughout his year career, Ebi has released over 20 albums, close to singles, and performed shows across the world.

Ebrahim Hamedi (Persian: ابراهیم حامدی, romanized: Ebrāhim Hāmedi; born ), better known by his stage name Ebi (ابی), is an Iranian pop singer who first started his career in Tehran and Karaj, gaining fame as part of a band, and later as a solo performer. He moved to Los Angeles in , two years before the revolution in Iran, and continued his career in exile. Over 50 years, Ebi has released nearly singles and over 30 albums.
Early life
Ebi's father was from Arak and his mother was from Karaj. He is the eldest of six siblings born in Khorramdareh.
In an interview with Radio Zamaneh in , Ebi said that his hobby was singing and he sang to people at home, schoolmates and children in his neighborhood. He also said that he has been reciting the Quran in the school queue
